Feng Shui "The Art of Auspicious Placement"
Feng Shui (fung shway) is an Ancient Chinese philosophy, existing for more than 4000 years. It involves the art and science of using arrangement and placement in your environment to improve the flow of life energy or chi, as it is referred to by the Chinese.
Feng Shui, meaning, ‘wind-water', aims to create harmony between you and the world around you. By learning to apply Feng Shui principles in your life, your flow of chi will strengthen and your destiny will begin to take a more favorable course.
There are several forms of Feng Shui, the oldest school identified by a current Feng Shui Master, Lillian Too is the Form School . She dates this school to be 6000 years old and its purpose of practice was to identify geography of an area and the best position for a family gravesite.
The Compass School , practiced by Lillian Too utilizes a compass and KUA numbers to identify best compass directions that are best for your personal Feng Shui. Although very thorough and effective, this method requires intensive study and is often harder to grasp for many people of the West.
The third school is BTB Black Sect Tantric-Buddism. This practice was established in the United States by BTB Grand Master Lin Yun, introduced the Yin-Yang philosophy and is the easiest to use. It does not require a compass and only requires that you select one main door entrance into your house or room as a starting point. You then relate the directions of the room to begin analyzing your Feng Shui.
A fourth school, one of the first started in the USA , is Pyramid Feng Shui started by Nancilee Wydra from the American Feng Shui Institute located in Florida . Interior designers often seek certification with this school and its teachings seem to combine the teachings of BTB with its own. Although it's very good to read about the various approaches of Feng Shui to gain understanding of the various schools, at one point it is a good idea to select the style that seems to intuitively resonate with you. For most people, simplifying your approach will enable you to be more consistent with its practice and results.
The approach used on this site will focus primarily on the Black Sect Tantric-Buddhism (BTB) and the Pyramid Feng Shui of which the emphasis will be on the use of Feng Shui in relationship as well as how you can use its methods to enrich your love life.
You will be introduced to the Feng Shui concept of making physical changes in your environment to enhance the potential of inner movement within an individual, ultimately triggering the emotional changes needed to bring about harmony, balance and vitality into your intimate relationship.
Because Feng Shui naturally integrates from one part of your life to another, you will find that any change made in one aspect of your life will ultimately cause you to reflect on how you interact with your entire environment. That of course, is the true essence of what Feng Shui can lead you to.
